Citadela Restaurant

Citadela occupies the terrace of Budva's fifteenth-century fortress at the tip of the Old Town peninsula. Tables sit against the battlements with an unblocked view across to Sveti Nikola island. Dinner guests get free access to the citadel itself, which normally charges a €5 entry fee — a detail worth knowing since it effectively discounts the bill. The menu runs Mediterranean with local sourcing: olive oil from the Budva hills, seafood landed the same morning, regional wines. Reservations are necessary in summer; the terrace holds a limited number of covers and the view makes demand predictable.
