Budva Promenade
Paved seafront promenade running from Budva Old Town past Slovenska Beach toward Bečići and Rafailovići.
Coastal Walkway from the Old Town to Bečići
The promenade follows the seafront coastline extending south-eastward from the Old Town walls, progressing past Slovenska Plaža towards the Bečići and Rafailovići areas. The pathway surface is paved throughout the main section, presenting a flat walking route suitable for visitors using pushchairs, wheelchairs, and mobility aids. Nighttime illumination provides visibility along the entire route during darker hours. The landward side of the promenade is densely lined with commercial establishments including restaurants, casual cafés serving light meals, ice cream vendors, and shops selling souvenirs and tourist goods. Street performers including musicians and artists establish themselves along the promenade during summer evening hours, creating entertainment and atmosphere during peak visitor periods. The journey from the Old Town gates to the beginning of Bečići Beach requires approximately thirty minutes of walking at a leisurely, unhurried pace. Many visitors cover the route in segments rather than continuously, stopping at cafés or for water views. Beyond Bečići, the promenade continues through Rafailovići and extends toward Kamenovo, transitioning from the wide paved section into a narrower coastal pathway with less commercial infrastructure. This extension passes closer to the shoreline and provides a more natural coastal experience for visitors continuing southeastward along the coast.
