Miločer Park
Former royal park with Mediterranean and subtropical plants, shaded paths and access to Miločer Beach.
Royal Botanical Garden between Miločer and Sveti Stefan
Miločer Park is a botanical garden that surrounds a former summer residence belonging to the Karađorđević royal family. The park is situated geographically between Miločer Beach and Sveti Stefan, occupying an elevated coastal position with views toward the adjacent beaches. The garden composition incorporates Mediterranean plant species alongside subtropical specimens, all planted during the royal occupation period. The vegetation includes tall Mediterranean pine trees, cypress trees, oleander shrubs producing pink flowers, agave plants with thick succulent leaves, and imported palm varieties brought from warmer climates. This diverse planted composition creates a dense tree canopy providing substantial shade coverage along the established walking paths throughout the park. The park interior remains considerably cooler than exposed beach areas due to the dense foliage. The park is accessible to the general public and contains connecting pathways linking to both Miločer Beach below and Queen's Beach (also called Królowa Beach) via short walking routes. The villa building at the park's centre is not available for public interior access or viewing. Access to the park itself is unrestricted. Miločer Park represents one of the limited genuinely shaded walking and recreation areas available along the entire Riviera coastline. This characteristic makes the park function as a valuable mid-day refuge for visitors and residents seeking respite from direct sun exposure and heat during peak daylight hours. The park is particularly valuable during the warm summer months.
