Seafood konobas inside the Old Town walls, pizza places on Slovenska Obala and international kitchens along Jadranski put make up most of Budva's restaurant scene. Most Old Town restaurants serve grilled fish and Adriatic squid caught the same morning, with mains typically running €10–€25. Italian, Asian, Mexican and fast-casual spots line the main coastal road and the streets behind Slovenska Beach. Several waterfront terraces along the promenade offer views across to Sveti Nikola island.

Traditional Montenegrin dishes to look for include ćevapi (grilled minced meat), njeguški steak (stuffed with prosciutto and cheese from Njeguši village), and buzara — shellfish cooked in wine, garlic and breadcrumbs. Seafood restaurants along the coast generally price whole grilled fish by the kilogram, typically €30–€50/kg for sea bass or bream. Budva's restaurant scene also includes bakeries selling burek and pastries from early morning, and several cafés that serve breakfast and brunch into the afternoon.

Old Town terrace seating fills up quickly on Friday and Saturday evenings — reservations are worth making at popular spots, especially in July and August. Most restaurants in Budva accept card payments (Visa, Mastercard) alongside cash in euros. Tipping is not obligatory but rounding up or leaving 5–10% is common.
