Konoba Portun

Portun is a family operation with roughly twelve tables inside the Old Town walls. The menu covers traditional Montenegrin territory — grilled fish, meat under the sač, njeguški steak — without deviation or experiment. What separates it from the larger Old Town restaurants is the size: the family runs the kitchen and the service directly, and the small cover count means food reaches the table quickly and hot. Reservations are effectively mandatory in July and August. The entrance is easy to miss — look for the wooden sign in the alley running parallel to the sea wall.
