Podgorica Airport (TGD) is 65 km inland via the Sozina tunnel, around 1 hour 15 minutes by road. Airport transfers can be pre-booked through local operators or arranged on arrival; expect €20–€30 from Tivat, €40–€60 from Podgorica. Several car rental companies operate desks at both airports and from offices in Budva town itself, with daily rates starting around €25–€40 for a compact car.
Within Budva, most of the town is walkable — the Old Town, Slovenska Beach and the main promenade are all within a 15-minute walk of each other. For reaching Bečići (3 km), Rafailovići (4 km) or Sveti Stefan (10 km), local buses run along the Jadranski put coast road roughly every 20–30 minutes during the day. Tickets cost €1–€2 depending on the distance. Taxis are readily available and use meters — a ride from Budva to Bečići should cost around €5–€7.
Parking in central Budva is limited and gets expensive from June onward. Street parking near the Old Town fills by mid-morning in July and August, and paid lots charge €1–€3 per hour. Free parking exists further out, particularly near Jaz Beach and on the approach roads. Scooter and bicycle rental is available from several operators in the town centre, with scooters from around €20–€30 per day.
